Perhaps you’ve heard of Michael Flynn. The former national security advisor has been in the news a lot lately…like how on Friday morning he agreed to cooperate with the ongoing investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia and plead guilty to charges of lying to the FBI about his own Russian connections.
Pleading guilty to high crimes, even if it’s part of a deal, means Flynn will have to stand trial and could very well do some time behind bars. Oh, irony of ironies, because Flynn helped popularize one of the 2016 presidential election’s most ghastly and obnoxious phrases (which is saying something). At the 2016 Republican National Convention, it was Flynn who led the Hillary Clinton-directed mob chants of, “Lock her up! Lock her up!”

Considering that Clinton has never been charged with anything, and how Flynn is now in deep trouble, critics of the Trump administration and burned Clinton supporters are feeling equal about of vindication and schadenfreude.
