The inside of my ring finger is actually bleeding a little from trying to open this thing.
The butter knife worked for me. I tried the hot water… hitting it with a hammer.. those rubber gripper things.. nothing.. ran the butter knife under it.. then had to use the knife and prided the lid off. YES I ate the whole container of melted goodness.
It took two people, a screwdriver, and thirty minutes to finally get it open. There must be something wrong with their latest batch of containers. I’ve never had this happen before.
The lid machine at Talenti HQ has apparently been fixed, and the too-tight batch from last summer is working its way out of stores, but until then, if you want gelato, prepare to work for it.
