Watch out, professional wrestling: there’s a new opponent in town, and he’s ready to set elaborate homemade traps all over the ring.

With no scheduled match as of yet, Bulgarian professional wrestler Rusev has been crawling social media in search of a celebrity opponent to challenge him during WrestleMania 34.

While Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is the obvious dream candidate, the Rock did not accept the offer, and jokingly volunteered his frequent costar Kevin Hart as a hilarious potential alternative,

However, one voice rang out from the back of the room with such certainty that it made everyone do a double-take: Macaulay Culkin, of Home Alone and Richie Rich fame, enthusiastically volunteered to wrestle Rusev.

Culkin responded to Rusev’s offer with such swagger and confidence that everyone assumed he was joking.

Nope. This is a legit offer, you guys. Macaulay Culkin quite literally wants to throw his hat in the ring.

Rusev was hesitant to take swings at a childhood favorite and balked at the offer.

But Culkin persisted, engaging the wrestler in some pretty admirable smack-talk.

Honestly, people seem to love the idea Culkin wrestling Rusev — but it’s unclear whether they love it enough for the pairing to become a reality.
