President Trump may have had sexual harassment claims coming from every corner of the country, but that never stops him from pushing forward in life. What may halt him in his tracks, however, are the subpoenas that were issued to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and the Beverly Hills Hotel, two crucial pieces of Summer Zervos’ sexual assault accusations and defamation suit against Trump.
A former contestant on “The Apprentice,” Zervos first spoke up about her unwanted lewd interactions with Trump during a news conference weeks before the 2016 election. She accused the then-Presidential candidate of forcibly kissing her during her time on “The Apprentice.” Based on her claims, things escalated at the Beverly Hills Hotel in 2007 when Trump made unwanted advances on her and grabbed her chest.
The original claims may have been brushed aside, but new subpoenas will spark interest in Zervos’ story once again. Zervos’ lawyer, Mariann Wang of Cut Hecker Wang, approached M.G.M for all materials, including audio and video, that includes her client or any instance where Trump mentions her. The subpoena to the Beverly Hills Hotel hopes to dig up records of Trump staying at the hotel from 2005 through 2009, along with any documentation on his bodyguard, Keith Schiller; his assistant, Rhona Graff; or Zervos.
Trump’s former “Apprentice” is suing the president for defamation in response to his retorts that she’s a “liar.” When a New York State judge ruled that the defamation suit could proceed, Trump’s lawyer, Marc E. Kasowitz, tried to claim that the court had no jurisdiction over a sitting president. Justice Jennifer Schecter of State Supreme Court in Manhattan fired back, stating “No one is above the law.”

Motion in Zervos’ suit against Trump comes shortly after pornographic actress, Stephanie Clifford, filed her own defamation suit against the president.
