Only two more weeks to go until Star Wars: The Last Jedi finally hits theaters. The stars are building the already intense excitement by making the rounds on the late-night talk show circuit. Daisy Ridley (Rey) appeared on The Tonight Show earlier this week, and then co-star John Boyega (Finn) sat down for a visit with Jimmy Fallon. Well, he was sitting down, because then he stood up: to dance!
After some discussion about The Last Jedi and the royal family (Boyega is from England), Fallon played a video a diehard Boyega fan named “Daisy” sent in, which included a special request.
Surprise! “Daisy” was actually Daisy Ridley. He request: for Boyega to show the sweet “break-out dance move” he busted out at the Last Jedi wrap party. Did Boyega get up and dance on national television?
You’re darn right he did. When house band the Roots launched into a groove highly reminiscent of the hook from Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean,” Boyega showed off his impressive, uncannily-King-of-Pop-esque moves.
Fans were quite impressed by Boyega’s heretofore unrevealed secret talent, and they showed their love with, of course, Star Wars-inspired puns.
Well…the force has got alot of power so…
