We all do some pretty stupid things when we’re young. How many times did you have to call your parents to fix your stupid mistakes? Plenty, I’m sure (or, maybe that’s just me). Needless to say, I’ve made a lot of poor choices when it comes to filling out forms and paperwork for official documents – like, I’ll sign off on things I really shouldn’t have. But, one Twitter user’s mistake on her own driver’s license totally takes the cake for worst mistake of the year.
When you’re 18-years-old, you shouldn’t be trusted with anything – trust me. The fact that we’re given the opportunity to choose what we’re going to do for the rest of our lives at this age baffles me. When I was 18, I could barely think straight. I was too concerned with what party I’d be going to that weekend. And, it seems as though this girl wasn’t too far off, as she totally botched her driver’s license. When updating her address on it, she accidentally wrote “My Dad’s House” on it.
Well, at least everyone will know that you still live at home. Either way, it looks like you’re going to have to update your license again unless you’re comfortable with everyone knowing that you live at your dad’s house. The bright side is that most cops will know that you’re young if you get pulled over for speeding. But, the downside is that bouncers will forever laugh at you at bars. It’s a 50/50 kind of situation. Twitter had some questions, thoughts and laughs out of this one.
Some people asked the question that we’re all thinking:
