If you’re a fan of Internet culture, I’m sure you’ve heard of the Walmart Yodel Kid–aka Mason Ramsey.
The 11-year-old made it big after he went viral online for a YouTube video of him singing the song “Lovesick Blues” by Hank Williams inside of an Illinois Walmart.
In only two weeks, he signed a record deal with Atlantic Records and began working on a single. He even landed a spot at Coachella this year.
Now, after countless press spots and appearing on shows–Ramsey has released his first single “Famous.” I’m not into country music, but, the kid does have a lot of talent for an 11-year-old. Also, it’s a heartfelt adolescent song speaking about “being famous for loving you,”–what more can you ask for?
So far, Twitter is loving it.
