41. In Season Two, they used CG to create the Eleven flashbacks.
Since MBB had hair in Season Two, the flashbacks required the producers to use CG to make her appear bald again, but it was pretty expensive.
42. Will was originally supposed to kill Bob.
When Bob was supposed to die earlier on, Will was going to be the one to kill him via the monster that took over his mind.
43. But, Sean Astin wanted Bob’s death to be violent.
Apparently, Bob’s death was supposed to be pretty minor, but Sean Astin wanted a violent and memorable death for Bob.
44. Dart is not real (aw).
Dart is actually made out of complete CGI.
45. The real name for the “Upside Down” is the “Nether.”
Apparently, the name in the original script was the Nether, but the Upside Down was used so much on set that it stuck. The same thing goes for “Shadow Monster,” in Season Two which was supposed to be called the Mind Flayer.
