People Failing At Selling Mirrors Online Becomes The Internet’s Newest Curious Obsession

Shopping for used mirrors never really sounded like an enjoyable task — that is, until someone on Twitter found a vastly amusing recurring joke in most listings for Craigslist mirror ads.

Twitter user Siv recently pointed out that it’s rather difficult to take a proper picture of a mirror. Most of the time, the photographer ends up being the subject of the photo instead of the mirror. This observation, of course, led to a deep-dive of online postings for mirrors.

The results were fairly hilarious. Some people chose to embrace their reflection …

… while others were a touch more camera-shy.

Honestly, it feels like you can tell a lot about a person from their photo-taking methodology.

Especially when they use their iPad to take the photos.

Siv’s discovery resulted in other Twitter users falling down the entertaining rabbit hole of online mirror sales.

However, not everyone was willing to feature their reflection in their mirror pic.

One person actually colored in her reflection (presumably to deter prying eyes).

Does the internet have too much time on its hands?

Yes.

Does that frequently work in the public’s general favor for entertainment purposes?

Also yes.
