You could have written this about my 17 yr old daughter. Teachers like you are such a blessing to our children.

Sometimes teachers forget that these kids have lives that are so stretched with jobs, extracurricular, family issues, etc. Compassion teaches so much more than a worksheet ๐ Great call!

Knowing our students and doing our best for them is the best, hardest and most important part of our jobs.

You give our profession a good name. I love teaching and agree, sometimes we need to give kids a break.

You are Modern Day Role Model.. we are missing compassion and empathy for fellow mankind. Loving Kindness towards the Self and the fellow beings is the ground we build character on. You, Sir, are a shining example that Humanity still prevails. CHEERS!

Sometimes in life, giving someone a break and showing them compassion and understanding will go a lot further than trying to make an example of them or teach them a lesson. Allowing teens and students to know your classroom is a safe environment and you are a teacher who is understanding will pay off in the longrunโand, will make you a better teacher overall.
