Is there anything in this world sweeter than a well-intentioned grandpa? (No). One particular grandfather was trying to do a nice thing for his granddaughter by cleaning her Girls World doll using “white spirits,” which in American is paint thinner.
Twitter user @TashP351 shared the results of this botched cleaning attempt, and it is truly nightmare fuel.

The doll uncannily resembles that scene from Silence of the Lambs where Hannibal Lecter wears a cop’s face ON TOP OF HIS OWN FACE. Anyway, the tweet instantly went viral because it’s both adorable and terrifying, and Twitter reacted accordingly.
