The Navy SEAL Who Killed Bin Laden Just Responded To Trump’s Military Parade Idea

Donald Trump one loves thing above all other things: his country. LOL JK. No, Donald Trump loves Donald Trump more than any other person on thing on this planet. (A close second is money, and a close third is seeing his name on things, which kind of goes along with the first thing.)

To that end, and perhaps to distract from the myriad, ever-growing list of scandals that plague his administration, such as the ongoing investigation into Russian manipulation of the election that made him president, Trump has asked the Pentagon to do him a solid and plan a military parade through the streets of Washington, D.C. (He saw one in France, and thought it was swell, apparently.) It will show off the country’s military might and strong leadership, like the kind North Korea and Nazi Germany has.

This has not been a popular decision among veterans, government people and regular folks.

Also on the list of people who think a Trump-requested military parade is some dictator nonsense: Robert O’Neill. This is a guy who knows the developing world, and bad guys, and the military. O’Neill is a former Navy SEAL, and he was part of what’s probably the most famous and popular thing the Navy SEALs ever did: He was part of the 2011 raid that ended with Osama bin Laden’s death. In fact, O’Neill is the guy who actually killed the thoroughly evil terrorist mastermind.
