In this age of both divisive politics and technology-created isolation, there are a handful of things that unite us as humans. Everybody likes pizza, for example; even vegans can indulge, what with recent technological breakthroughs in fake cheese. Also, Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow” makes people lose their minds and start spontaneous dance parties. And, of course, there’s Jeff Goldblum. The handsome, quirky, funny, charismatic piano-playing star of The Fly, Jurassic Park, Independence Day, The Life Aquatic, and Thor: Ragnarok, just seems to bring joy and fun wherever he goes. New Year’s resolution for all of us: Be more like Jeff Goldblum.
Also bringing fun and light into the world: the Georgia rap trio Migos. They haven’t been around as long as Jeff Goldblum—they formed in 2009 and only had their first big hit, the #1 smash “Bad and Boujee” last year, but they’re going to be around for a long time and make a lot of people very happy. One example of this happened over the weekend. Worlds of goodness collided when Migos member Quavos hung out with the great Jeff Goldblum. They both looked thrilled to meet one another, because these guys are the best.
