Being in a long-term relationship is very different from the casual dating phase. For one, you’re much more comfortable around one another, so the butterflies have generally settled into a happy contentment — for another, the odds of sharing nude pics with one another decreases dramatically, while the odds of sharing funny baby animal videos with one another absolutely skyrockets.
Sarah Cintron and Juan Ramos, two 19-year-olds at the University of Texas at El Paso, recently proved this point when Sarah texted Juan and told him that she was showering.
Rather than making a lascivious request, though, Juan simply asked if Sarah could send him “a picture of [her] hair up in a giant spike.”
And yes — people in long-term relationships are the silliest kinds of people.

“She had sent a picture with her hair like that before and I thought it was so funny, so I asked her again just to get a good laugh and to make her laugh as well,” Juan explained to Buzzfeed. “You gotta make your girl laugh every day.”
Obviously, Twitter was charmed by such a pure request.
