Whenever someone makes a slight error on TV or a big screen somewhere, you can best bet that someone is going to capture it and share it on social media somewhere. And, once it’s seen by someone else on social media it’s only a matter of time before that sh*t goes viral. We see this often times at big events like concert arenas and sporting events. How many times have you scrolled through your Facebook page and seen a really hilarious mistake on a jumbotron? 10/10 times, it’s always funny.
Recently, Chance the Rapper was at Madison Square Garden in New York to watch the Knicks game and, like always, they showed celebrities at the game on the jumbotron. But, fans found it hilarious as to what they chose to include along with his name.
I’m pretty sure it’s a well-known fact that Chance the Rapper is a rapper – as implied by his name. What do you think the guy was smoking when he decided to write “rapper” under his name? Maybe he knew people would tweet about it and wanted to give the Knicks and MSG some extra PR. Or, maybe he really thought people didn’t know he’s a rapper (doubtful). Either way, whatever the reason, people thought it was hilarious.
