Tom Holland’s Response To Question About ‘Drag Race’ Only Makes Him More Adorable

Tom Holland, our newest Spiderman, is known for having an endearing and innocent-looking face — and occasionally, he plays right into that oblivious baby stereotype.

Holland and Benedict Cumberbatch recently appeared on Absolute Radio’s “Showbiz Scenarios” as part of the press tour for Avengers: Infinity War. On the show, host Dave Berry asked the two actors to give answers to a series of hypothetical scenarios.

One of Berry’s questions was, “Who would win RuPaul’s Drag Race, Tom Hiddleston, Bradley Cooper, or Robert Downey Jr.?”

Cumberbatch understood the reference just fine, but Holland was momentarily confused.

Holland’s adorably naive answer? “I think Downey would win a drag race cuz he has the fastest cars.”

*Facepalm* No, Tom. Not like an actual “drag race” with automobiles — we are SPEAKING OF the infamous and infinitely quotable reality show starring the nation’s top drag queens.

People were stunned, disappointed and charmed all at once.

Like, Tom has done drag before. How does he not know this??

To be fair, Tom does correct himself at the end of the clip, saying “Oh I do know what that is!” — but it was definitely a close call. (Perhaps he was simply trolling the host by feigning innocence?)

So, perhaps the stans can forgive him for his momentary gaffe, and simply remember that he did, in fact, give a stellar drag performance to a Rihanna song, once upon a time.
