You may think you “LOVE” Christmas, but unless you feel even half as passionate about anything Christmas-related as this one California dad feels about artificial trees, I don’t want to hear it.
21-year-old Madison Napoli captured her dad Joe’s insanely melodramatic reaction to his wife’s suggestion they get an artificial tree for Christmas on video, and it quickly went viral for obvious reasons. Madison knew her mom was just trolling, so it appears everyone was in on the joke but pops.

The video garnered over 80,000 retweets and 220,000 likes in less then four days, mostly because Joe Napoli’s reaction is so genuinely revolted. He shouts:
“The whole thing is freaking plastic! I don’t know what’s happened to you and I know I can’t solve it, so I’m just going to let it go.”
His look when mom suggests getting a “Glad candle that smells like the tree” is sure to be inspiration for future memes. I MEAN:
Madison clarified that the tree seen in the video is decorative and not the official family Christmas tree.

And that, not to worry, Joe did end up getting this real tree.

People on Twitter were cracking up over the video.

According to BuzzFeed News, Joe is aware of the video and it’s quick rise into Twitter Christmas history. “If this little glimpse into my world can keep one home from getting a fake tree, my pain will have been worth it,” he said.
