According to Right Wing Watch, Bachmann prayed to God and he was all “New phone, who dis?”
From the very first day when Al Franken had announced his resignation from the U.S. Senate, I went before the Lord and it became very clear to me that I wasn’t hearing any call from God to do this.
Bachmann said in a radio interview, “I just had no sense from the Lord that this is something that I should do right now, so I’m not going to do it.”
Ouch. Ghosted by God himself. Oh well, it’s probably for the best. It’s like the Founding Fathers said: if a Twitter comedian can crowdfund a billboard to tell you not to run for office, then you probably shouldn’t run for office.
