Quincy’s interview did occasionally pause the gossip to actually speak to the music legend’s preferences and beliefs. Apparently, Quincy thinks that Bruno Mars, Chance the Rapper and Kendrick Lamar are producing good work, and says that if he could change one thing about our country, it would be “racism.”
Despite all the shade being thrown around in the interview, the 84-year-old Quincy said that he is genuinely excited for what his future holds. “I stopped drinking two years ago and I feel like I’m 19 years old. I’ve never been so creative. I can’t tell you, man — what a life!”
28 Grammys, producing for Michael Jackson and hanging out with Marlon Brando — what a life, indeed.
