This weekend, thousands of people participated in peaceful protests around the world in the March For Our Lives movement, pushing for the United States government to implement harsher gun control laws. The march and movement came from the strong, brave, and brilliant students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School who lost 17 of their peers and friends. Many celebrities and influencers took part in the march on Saturday, but, some are using their platform to continue the conversation. That evening, Nickelodeon hosted their annual Kids’ Choice Awards and Millie Bobby Brown showed up rocking a powerful message on her outfit.
The “Stranger Things” star partnered up with Calvin Klein wearing an all-denim outfit. On the back of her shirt in a white text read “March For Our Lives,” along with all 17 names of the Parkland shooting victims.
Thank you to all the fans who voted for me and for Stranger Things at Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards today. A big ?? also to my friends at Calvin Klein for being such a champion of important causes and efforts to create positivity in this world. #marchforourlives #neveragain pic.twitter.com/rPh3jCvz3i

After winning “Favorite TV Actress,” Brown used her acceptance speech to push the message even further.
“The March For Our Lives demonstrations that took place all over the world today have inspired me and impacted us all in one way or another. I’m fortunate to be here tonight to receive an award as an actor … I get to be up here, and I’m privileged to have a voice that can be heard, one that I can use to hopefully make a positive difference and help influence change.”
Fans on Twitter were both impressed and inspired by the idea to honor these victims and support the issue of gun control across the country.
