Shania Twain Arrives To Football Halftime Show In A Dogsled—And It’s The Most Canadian Thing Ever

Shania Twain may just give Mariah Carey a run for her money when it comes to being the most extra pop star around the age of 50.

The 52-year-old arrived to her halftime performance at the Grey Cup—the Canadian Football League’s championship game— in the middle of a blizzard. But besides her absolute disregard for the inclement weather, perhaps the most amazing thing about Shania Twain’s performance was her outfit; a head-to-toe pink glitter catsuit and a reddish/fuchsia fur jacket accentuated by fur booties and gloves.

Ok, wait. We lied. Because clearly the most amazing thing about Shania Twain’s performance was not that she is a 52-year-old in a glitter pink catsuit hopping around a snowed-in wet stage in Ottawa. It’s the fact that she got pulled in in a dogsled to do it. It gets better! She was also greeted by several Mounties when she disembarked off her dog sled.

If your reaction was “THIS IS THE MOST CANADIAN THING I’VE EVER SEEN” then rest assured in knowing you are not alone.

Shania Twain opened her halftime performance with everyone millennial girls’ favorite 1998 hit, “That Don’t Impress Me Much” and ended it with “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!”

If only we were actually all Canadians now.
