Alexandra should add one more thing to the list: Michelle Obama personally thanked her for doing her project on her.
This just made my day. I may not be a 3rd grade teacher, but this gets an A+ in my book! https://t.co/wBTzbyG8zr

According to Alexandra’s mom, Audrey Dow, when Alexandra read that response, she did what most of us would do—not be able to deal. “Alexandra is so overwhelmed with all the positive attention,” Dow said. “She got so teary-eyed when she read Mrs. Obama’s reply. She couldn’t believe that she would write something to her. Dreams come true baby girl!”
Folks on Twitter were almost as overcome as Alexandra was.
My boys are raised to study every strong independent woman. They are taught that women and men are no different in their abilities, and should be respected and admired equally. She is not just a great woman, she is the kind of human being I hope my boys will all aspire to become
