Britney Spears is not a celeb that is usually super outspoken when it comes to politics, but, recently, she took to Instagram to make a strong statement. The 36-year-old singer posted a photo of herself rocking a t-shirt that said “We are all Dreamers.” She captioned the photo:
“Tell Congress to pass the #DreamAct.”
The Dream Act is a controversial bill that protects over 800,000 undocumented immigrants who arrived in the United States as children from being deported. Many celebrities have spoken out in response to Donald Trump’s statements about repealing the act altogether.
Fans were impressed and thankful that Spears would support them, as some of her fans are Dreamers themselves.
It’s always nice to see celebrities using their huge following to support causes that truly matter. Also, can we just take a moment to appreciate how insane Brit’s body is? If I look like that at 36-years-old, I’ll thank God every single day. Slay girl!
