It’s disheartening that the Recording Academy would essentially blame this year’s female talent pool for not bringing their “A-game” when there’s considerable proof that this simply isn’t true.
Awards shows aren’t known for handling current political and social issues with particular finesse, but I think we can agree that this year’s Grammys were especially tone-deaf.
