There are few things in this world that can truly make me feel old but, when I see them, I immediately curl up into a ball and cry. It’s those moments that make you stop and say– how did time fly by so damn quickly? Do I already need to purchase wrinkle cream? Am I in a hot tub time machine? What is happening?!? When you think about your favorite things as teens, you realize how much time as past since obsessing over them and you realize–sh*t, I’m really old. I mean, who can forget how obsessed we all were with “Twilight?” The vampire/werewolf novels that were passed around school like middle-aged women pass around “Fifty Shades of Grey” in their menopausal bookclubs. And, who can forget how much we loved the movies? Low and behold, it’s been 6 years since the last “Twilight” movie was released–and, a lot has changed since then.
Recently, Kristen Stewart, who played Bella Swan, attended a Chanel event in Los Angeles, California and ran into a very dear friend–Mackenzie Foy. Foy played Renesmee Cullen–Edward and Bella’s daughter–in the final two films of the franchize. But, she was just a little girl when the films were released.
When the movies first came out, Foy was a mere 10-years-old. Now, Foy is 17-years-old and has clearly grown up a bunch–seriously, I barely recognized her when I first saw the photo of the mother-daughter duo. The two showed up to the Chanel party separately but posed together for a sweet photo.
It’s a shame Robert Pattinson wasn’t there to make it a true family photo. Obviously Twilight fans were freaking out over the mini-reunion.
