While Amazon has apparently removed all OraCorp hairdryers from their site, the company has yet to address this alarming event.

It is possible that the hairdryer was intended for use with a US plug and simply overheated when it was plugged into a UK outlet. (Which is not unheard of.) Regardless, this seems like an issue which both Amazon and OraCorp would want to investigate.

Erika says that she’s still shocked by the unexpectedly fiery start to her morning, but is thankful that the damage wasn’t more extreme.
